Three suspected armed robbers arrested during a search in Lagos –

Luck ran out for a group of suspected armed robbers terrorizing the Ajah area of ​​Lagos State on April 14, 2022 at around 12:40 p.m. along the Ajah under the bridge.

The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the development through its spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

Reportedly, the Crime Patrol Team attached to Ajah Divisional Police Headquarters, Ajah, Lagos, while on routine patrol, intercepted a silver Honda City vehicle registration GGE 288 GV with three occupants: Emeka George, 30; Ahmed Balogun, 23; and Bolaji Elewuro 29 years old.

In a show of conscience, officers on reasonable suspicion carried out a courteous search of the occupants of the vehicle and in doing so recovered a locally made pistol with three live rounds.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Police Superintendent Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident.

Hundeyin said, “Officers immediately moved the suspects to the station and a preliminary investigation began.

“Lagos State Command Police Commissioner, CP Abiodun Alabi, in his determination to ensure the safety and security of the people of Lagos, assured everyone that all necessary measures would be taken to combat the insecurity .

“He further ordered that the suspects and exhibits be transferred to the CP Special Squad for a more discreet investigation.”
